Bachelor of Communication in Multimedia Journalism Stakeholders’ Forum
Excellence, teamwork, integrity, and innovation is expected from graduates of Riara University’s journalism class. On Friday, stakeholders gathered at the University to validate the Bachelor of communication in multimedia journalism. The discussion focused on packaging the programme in a unique way that will produce graduates who will easily get integrated into the industry because of the hands on skills they will acquire from the training.
The event which featured Zipporah Musau of the United Nations Development Programme, Churchill Otieno and David Adunda of Nation Media Group and Maina Chege of Fountain Media highlighted that the industry needs all-rounder graduates who are analytical and employable in the ever changing media environment
Other stakeholders included key people in various Institutions of higher learning. They emphasized on the need to have competent trainers who will match the modes of delivery.
